Overwintering pepper plants in the greenhouse and indoors

Описание к видео Overwintering pepper plants in the greenhouse and indoors

I have had such a rollicking success with my pepper plants this year that I really don't want to have to start again come January. So I've decided that since pepper plants are perennials ( in the right climate) I'm going to try overwintering them so that they will be strong healthy plants ready to grow early next year. Hopefully meaning I'll get a jump in things and start off early.

So join me in the greenhouse and we are going to chat about two methods of doing this, one is to take the plants inside and one is to leave them in the greenhouse to go dormant.

Some perennials won't survive winter, but we can protect them to help. There are different reasons why some plants will or won't survive in different climates but I'm going to try to save at least a few of mine so that I am not starting from scratch in spring next year. So Bidens, Osteospermum, and Argyranthemum are all getting saved using the greenhouse. And I'm setting up to save Pelargoniums and Dahlias next time.
