Which Vintage Electro-Voice Microphones Are The Best?

Описание к видео Which Vintage Electro-Voice Microphones Are The Best?

The Electro-Voice "Variable-D" Series is one of the most popular dynamic microphone series ever made. These microphones have a reduced proximity effect that allow for easy mixing on sources that could use a pre-EQ-d microphone. In this video we compare three vintage Electro-Voice models that use the "Variable-D" principle. We're listening to a 1970's 664A which sell for around $100, a 1970's RE-10 which sell for around $200, and a 1970's RE-15 which sell for around $500.
