The King of Kick Drum Microphones: AKG D36

When it comes to vintage kick drum microphones, many people consider the AKG D12 to be one of the best. AKG made a larger model with two of their famous capsules pointed in different directions, the AKG D36. The D36 comes with an S36 box that allows for 8 different polar patterns and 4 different bass cut options. Until now there have been no videos highlighting these microphones, so use this as a rare opportunity to hear one in action!
