Back To The Arcade (Allentown, PA), nostalgic 4K retro arcade walkthrough, April 2024

This gem of an arcade where everything is on free play and you pay one price for admission can be found in Allentown, PA's South Mall on Lehigh Street. Formerly located in the Merchants Square Mall indoor flea market nearby, they relocated to this bigger space back in 2021 and have been drawing in fans from all over the world ever since! The owner, Mark, is a very hands-on proprietor, dedicating a good chunk out of every day to making sure his patrons are having a great time and that all the machines are clean and running in tip top shape. With an excellent collection of classic retro games from the 80's and 90's ranging from the Pac-Man series to Mortal Kombat, a few newer games such as Let's Go Jungle and Big Buck Hunter HD, old school electro-mechanical rarities like Turf Club and Sea Raider, traditional favorites like skee-ball, hoops, and air hockey, and an awesome collection of pinball machines (including 12 different modern Stern machines, all connected to Insider with a constantly updating leaderboard on display) -- there's something for everyone here! And make sure you don't leave without checking out, because every visitor walks away with something from the redemption counter just for coming. Between Back To The Arcade and Yocco's Hot Dogs just a few storefronts down, it's hard to not make a visit to the South Mall every time I'm in town!

Please note, since the filming of this video last weekend, they have just added the new Jaws pinball machine to their lineup over the past week... will definitely have to go back and attempt to set some high scores because OMG IT'S A SHARK! 😂
