Notes -
Today we have a world with 2 field themes and 2 combat themes. "Lazy Afternoons" and "Sinister Sundown" are usually associated with Roxas' experiences in the world, most notably in Simulated Twilight Town and in Days, but first heard in CoM, although that does connect to Roxas being Sora's nobody and those connected memories. "The Afternoon Streets" and "Working Together" are more lighthearted and used in KH2 and 3.

I didn't include The Mysterious Tower's main theme in this, while it is part of Twilight Town in KH2, after that it's seen as its own world. However, in BBS there is an arrangement of Working Together for the outside section, so of course that was included. Oh and Working Together's bridge before the repeat didn't flow well into the intro, so I just did a fade in/out.

I noticed that Re:CoM has a slightly different, cleaned up version of Sinister Sundown on the OST compared to in-game, just like with Revenge of Chaos. I didn't show both versions in that case (I didn't realise at the time) so I decided to make up for it here. They sound different enough to warrant it I think. This doesn't seem to be the case for Lazy Afternoons however.

2.5's Lazy Afternoons does a little something special with the guitar in the intro, as it says on the wiki, a "syncopated part". I think it might be one of my unpopular opinions that I don't like the Re:CoM Lazy Afternoons much. I can see why people do but I prefer the softer KH2 sound.

I do like hearing the similarites between the themes but how they evoke different feelings. Sinister Sundown is dramatic and urgent while Working Together is playful and bouncy. Lazy Afternoons is calming, but also a little melancholy, tinged with sadness. Roxas' supposed summer vacation is coming to an end. Meanwhile The Afternoon Streets is sweeter and has a lullaby quality.
