This spring, I installed a Dana 70S rear axle from a Chevy Express van into my GMT400 K2500 Suburban. The Dana 70 comes with massive rear disc brakes, but I hadn't done anything with the front brakes yet, so it was time to match the front. Stock, the GMT400 trucks use a single piston caliper, but I wanted to match the rear with a twin piston caliper, so its GMT800 2500HD parts to the rescue. That's right, we're installing 2500HD twin piston calipers and floating rotors on the front end of a GMT400 K2500 truck.
