NOTE: PLEASE PERFORM THESE MODS AT YOUR OWN RISK. I was told that newer versions have a revised neck angle which makes the hipshot bridge's lower action a bit more problematic. Please install at your own risk!

Hey everyone! Today we're taking another go at modding the Harley Benton "Thomannbacker" RB-414. We previously modded this bass early on in the channel with genuine Ric pickups, but this time we're looking to take things a step further. We'll be using Joe Barden R4000 pickups (same pickups that are on Wally, my real Ric) as well as a Hipshot Bridge. Will this bass sound like a Ric after all these mods? Let's find out!

NOTE: I did NOT wire these pickups out of phase this time. I think the cheap pots and switch config are having an impact.
