Hiking Through the Burn to Jefferson Park

Jefferson Park is a lovely destination in Oregon's Mt. Jefferson Wilderness. The fastest and most popular route into Jefferson Park was burned in the 2017 Whitewater Fire and has been closed ever since. In August 2019 the Forest Service opened it back up and we headed up there for a three-day two-night backpacking trek. Thanks to all the trail crews who worked on clearing this trail after the fire!

NOTE: Sorry about the silent section at 3:45. Editing error! I was saying that even though it was on the early side it was cold and we were going to retreat to our sleeping bags and hope for better weather the next day.
