Thalassery or Thelliserry is the city of 3Cs' because first Cricket math was played by British here in this Fort's beach ground. First Circus in India was performed here. FIrst Cake in India was baked here. The light house inside this square shaped fort is still functioning. This fort was constructed in 1703 using laterite stones bonded with mixture of calcium carbonate, white of eggs & sugar. The majestic structure even after 300 years of age stands young holding it's importance & sharing the history. This Fort has underground tunnel which leads to Arabian sea & other areas.
