A lot of people promote their meditation work by filming in some beautiful nature setting. Waterfalls, beaches, sunsets. It looks peaceful, but today I am sitting on a bus. I am here because I drive it, but also because it tells the truth in a clearer way.

A bus only moves safely when the wheels are balanced. If they are not balanced, the whole thing shakes, pulls, or becomes dangerous. The same thing is true in nature. Our whole existence depends on balance. We need balance for air, water, food, and every part of life.

That is what meditation is. When you get down in a balanced position, even for a few minutes, you line yourself up with the balance of nature. That balance supports everything.
