Join me in today's video as I share my journey of navigating grief and finding new daily routines to help me cope with the loss of my mom. After sitting down and reflecting on what I needed to prioritize each day, I created a daily routine card to keep me focused on essential tasks for both work and family.

Implementing these daily routines has made a significant difference in managing my stress levels and ensuring I prioritize self-care. By completing basic cleaning tasks nearly every day, I've been able to maintain a tidy home, even with the chaos of everyday life with a 5-year-old (and my tendency to be a 'piler'!).

One of the most significant shifts I've noticed in myself is letting go of the all-or-nothing mentality. Instead, I focus on achievable goals, like doing one load of dishes or laundry each day, without beating myself up if I don't finish everything by bedtime.

Each day brings its own challenges, and it's okay to adapt and prioritize as needed. Right now, throwing myself into work has been a lifeline, helping me stay afloat amidst the waves of grief. While I know my feelings may change in the future, for now, I'm finding solace in these daily routines and the sense of control they bring to my life.
