Afternoon drive from Bandung City to Cimahi in West Java, Indonesia passed through famous places like Alun-alun Bandung, Bunderan Cibeureum, Cimahi Mall, and Jalan Gandawijaya.

Bandung is the capital city of West Java, Indonesia, and one of the largest cities in Indonesia. In 2015, Bandung is also the fourth most populous city in Indonesia after Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bekasi with 2,5 million inhabitants. Bandung is known for some historical events, such as the Bandung Conference (Asia-Africa Conference), a big meeting by a lot of countries that voiced anti-colonialism spirit. Bandung is known by its nickname "Kota Kembang" (City of Flowers) because there are so many beautiful trees and flowers that grow there. Bandung is also known as Parijs van Java (Dutch: "The Paris of Java") because of its scenery. Bandung has cooler year-round temperatures than most other Indonesian cities. The city lies on a river basin surrounded by volcanic mountains that provides a natural defense system, which was the primary reason for the Dutch East Indies government's plan to move the capital from Batavia (modern-day Jakarta) to Bandung.

Cimahi is a landlocked city located immediately west of the larger city of Bandung, in West Java, Indonesia, and within the Bandung Raya (Greater Bandung) or Bandung Metropolitan Area one of the metropolitan areas which include Bandung City, Cimahi City, Bandung Regency, West Bandung Regency, and some sub-districts of Sumedang Regency in West Java. Cimahi was formerly part of Bandung Regency, which was later designated as an administrative city on January 29, 1976. Cimahi has various tourist hotspots, such as Alam Wisata Cimahi, Pandiga Recreation Sport, Rumah Pajang, Lembur Batik, and Kampung Adat Cirendeu. According to the local tourist office, these offer distinctive experiences in nature, cuisine, handicrafts, and traditional community. Additionally, there are some buildings of historical interest, such as Dustira Hospital, Ereveld Cemetery, Military Prison, and Sudirman Building.
