Hi All and welcome to Part 3 on the investigation of this $12 AliExpress Solar Lantern!

In this part: Learn a neat way to charge Batteries with connectors or tabs in your ordinary battery charger. Also, we shall finally come to a conclusion on whether or not the chemistry is LiFePO4 of the lantern battery. We will do some calculations and measurments of quiescent and active current draw in the different states of the lantern at both 3.7V and 4.2V and do a quick calculation on the expected runtimes.

Oh, and there will be a final part 4 - The Best Part! Why? Well, because that is where we shall be DIY:ing and fixing one of the shortcomings of this lantern so that it can be used all year round.
