Pharmacy is broad terms which involve the study, compounding, dispensing and counselling the topic related to medicines, its therapeutic use and undesirable effects. A person who deals and provides details about such practice is called- “Pharmacist”. Although there are so many designated functions in pharmacy, there are a few of them. Diploma in Pharmacy is a course with a duration of 2 years, followed by an internship of 3 months. The eligibility criteria are 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry being mandatory subjects and anyone between Biology and Mathematics. Diploma graduates can also get admission into the 2nd year of the Bachelor of Pharmacy program (Lateral Entry) Entrance Exam is not compulsory but Preference is given.

To get admitted in Pharamcy you should have-
1- Passing 12th with essential subject as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology from (10+2) education system
2- Minimum 45% marks for UR category and with a minimum of 40% marks for SC, ST, OBC category and PWD candidate of CG
3- Entrance examination is compulsory that is PPHT (Pre Pharmacy Test) Candidate.
4-Qualifying marks in PPHT- General- 10% and for OBC, SC, ST- 05%
5-Age limit- the General candidate- 30 Years other- 33 Years
