Re-neasting.
On 4/14/2022 three baby great horned owlets were returned to the trees after having fallen from a failing nest site. APCH Re-Nesting team fashioned a man-made platform nest and our climber Todd Secki ascended to great heights to install it and then the team sent the three chicks up. Once our team cleared the site, our camera that was left behind to captured the reunion. THIS is what it is all about! BIRDS ARE BEST RAISED BY BIRDS and keeping them in captivity and releasing them when they are flighted decreases their odds of survival by 95%!
