Vanessa's Story

Vanessa is a beautiful Arabian mare we intercepted from auction through our Buy Out Program in February. She came to us with a few scars on her legs and long front hooves, but was otherwise sound. After completing her month of quarantine, she was brought down to the main facility and was seen by our farrier. Our vets observed that she was walking heel first, rather than stepping toe first. Though it made her feet a little sore, our vets found nothing concerning and she was approved for her adoption!

Vanessa's Story was only possible due to the support of our generous donors. The role you play is pivotal in rescuing, sheltering, and protecting horses. Remember, horses like Vanessa get a second chance solely because of compassionate individuals like you. We urgently need your continued support.
