With Dreamstone in hand, it's time to repair the Masamune! Once our heroes return to Frog and provide him with the legendary blade, light is shed onto his history and the cause for his current appearance. Deciding that there is no time to waste, the trio head out to storm Magus' castle and prevent the rise of Lavos.

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.

The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
