The Brunswick Hills Police Department says one of its drone pilots helped track down a couple of suspects for the Medina County Sheriff's Office on Sunday.

It happened sometime on Sunday evening, when Medina sheriff's deputies were looking for two suspects who had stolen a car, crashed, then took off from the scene, Brunswick Hills police said on Facebook.

The department tapped drone pilot Ptl. Zachary Getto to help. Getto responded to Interstate 71 and put his flying device in the air. After a quick scan of the area, using the drone's thermal imaging camera system, Getto guided the Medina deputies to where the two suspects were hiding out.

The two suspects, who were "deep in the woods" were arrested.

Further details including the names of the suspects, or if they were charged, were not immediately released.
