Becoming debt free God's way: Sharon's story

Dealing with a challenging situation that felt impossible to overcome, Sharon almost gave up hope. But God had other plans.

Sometimes we need a reminder of how to keep going when we’re facing adversities in life – and Sharon’s story is just that.

She was a single mother struggling financially because of an abusive partner. Sharon juggled looking after 7 children, trying to run a household and dealing with the stress of debt and dyslexia.

But thankfully by persevering with our free debt help, trusting in God through difficult times, and with a supportive church family around her, Sharon was able to scale mountains she never thought possible. While the Bible may tell us, ‘In this world you will have trouble’, it’s what comes afterwards that we must hold on to: ‘But take heart! I have overcome the world’.
