The digital service Cockpit Connect from Ottobock enables orthotic and prosthetic practitioners to monitor the status of their patients' prostheses and activity data online. The animation explains how the remote service works and how users of leg prosthesis with microprocessor controlled knee components connect with O&P professionals remotely.
Users who control their leg prosthesis with the Cockpit app set up a MyOttobock account and accepts the invitation of their technician to share data. The orthotic and prosthetic practitioner simply log onto the Cockpit Connect platform, select your patient and consult the essential data at a glance. Orthotic and prosthetic practitioners can quickly and accurately classify the state of the microprocessor controlled components and provide their patient with the necessary information. Can your patient continue to use the prosthesis or should he or she stop by at the prosthetics and orthotics facility?
