Who Is Zack Fair? | Final Fantasy 7 Lore

SPOILER WARNING for this video, especially if you haven't played the original Final Fantasy 7, or Crisis Core!

Zack Fair is one of my favourite protagonists in all of the Final Fantasy games. Since Remake and Rebirth are fresh in our minds - and since he appears in those games with very little explanation or context - I thought it'd be a fun idea to tell the tale of Zack, how he relates to Cloud and Aerith, and what became of him in the original timeline.

Hopefully all my viewers who are brand new to the Final Fantasy series, and whose first games were Remake and Rebirth, will enjoy and learn something from this one (as long as you don't mind those spoilers). Or, if you've known this story for a long time, I hope you enjoy this relaxed retelling of the boy from Gongaga who embraced his dreams, protected his honour, and aimed to become a hero instead of a monster.
