This lift is situated in a tall residential building. It was installed in the early 70s when the building was constructed. The building has a total of four lifts: A group of 3 main lifts which have been modernised in the 90s with 18ATF machines and 4th separate lift which serves as a freight lift. This lift is still in original condition from the year 1970. It has a 104HT type DC gearless machine, powered by a Motor-Generator set (Ward-Leonhard). The lift runs on Otis' relay controller with the iconic pie plate selector. This high-speed version of the selector has a small motor on the carriage that advances part of the selector in the direction of travel, so that a small scale representation of the braking distance is established. This is necessary because the braking distance is larger than the floor distance.
