This group of lifts is installed in a tall residential building. They were installed by Flohr-Otis in 1971 when the building was constructed. They were very well specced for the height with a speed of 2.5m/s and a DC drive. In the late 1990s they were modernised with new Otis MCS321M controllers and 18ATF geared traction machines. The lifts run very efficiently with good acceleration/deceleration and advanced door opening. The lift cars themselves including the door drives as well as the counterweight and other mechanical installations in the shaft remain original. Even the iconic Otis flyball governors have been kept.
