I've been spending the past few days settling back into solo travel in Essaouira, Morocco. I've been spending lots of time in my own solitude over the past few days and have been leaning on self love and self discipline through all my little routines and rituals which help to ground and comfort me. Things like journaling, going for walks on the beach, stretching, sketching and just pondering on life lol. These habits have been so beneficial in helping me readjust back into the world of solo travel.

Every time I travel or experience some sort of change, it makes me realise how important it is to know how to care for yourself and show yourself love. Solo travel is like an intensive crash course in getting to know yourself and I'm grateful for all these moments that lead me closer to myself, even the moments when I feel low. If we can hold all our emotions with the same level of grace and compassion, we can learn so much from them. Every fragment of experience, every high, every low and everything inbetween is a necessary and beautiful part of the whole.
