Koliko je skup Dubrovnik | How expensive is Dubrovnik

We are on our yearly vacation in Orebic, Croatia. But we decided to spend one day to visit Dubrovnik since it's just very close to use. It was really hot that day and we are in the very first week of July. How much more in August. Anyway it's true that parking are really expensive. But the ones only close to the old town. The very close one to the old town cost for 10 euro per hour and 40 euro for 1 day. I mean it's convenient since it's really like a meters away from the entrance but then for me it's way too costly. We found a parking that cost 4 euro per hour and it's just 10-15 mins away of walking to the old town. There was also another parking that cost 3 euro but but almost at the port area and you need to right a bus to go to the old town or walk at least 30 minutes.
We bought some food there too. A slice of pizza was 4 euro but for me it was the best sliced pizza I had. The ice cream was 2,80 euro almost same price of the cakes to the countries we have been to in the european union. The food prices are same with the price in Rome or Italy. It's a tourist price. The eco bag that I bought for mama Behija was 10,50 euro.
And what saddened me the most was the entrance price for the wall of the old town. Where you can tour around above the castle for 2,8 kilometers and it cost 35 euro for adults and 15 euro for children. It's very costly for that price. Since it does not come with a tour guide. You do it on your own.
Well but struck me the most are the filming locations of game of thrones. The kings landing, the walk of shame stairs. The port where Jon Snow bend the knee to his cripple brother Brandon Stark we did not go to because it has a boat parked there so it's not a nice view.
It's a nice place but for me bringing children will diminish your excitement of the tour . It's best for me in my opinio not to bring kids so you can enjoy the scenery and history the old town of Dubrovnik has to offer. Wear sunscreen and a hat because it's a long walk. I would suggest if you want to visit Dubrovnik just for the old town do it on the cold season like spring or fall or maybe even winter since it does not have snow there.
