CORRECTION: Because I'm a .. moron.. I have converted height to my video directly to FT!!.. I'm actually 5 ft 8.5" (174cm).

I know some of my quick impressions might be a bit controversial but it's just what I feel during these rides so don't take them too seriously. We all have different taste when it comes to these things.

I really like both the 701 and 690 for what they are. To me this bike would be probably the perfect 'unicorn' territory bike if there ever is one. I could load this bike up with all my luggage for a 3 month trip and still would have a light setup with lots and lots of offroad cabability and power.

Interesting to see what I do come next season but this is definitely one candidate to appear in my garage when we get to 2024 so stay tuned ;-)

🏍️ What is the Quick Ride series meant to be?

Quick Ride collection is not meant to be this rigid "review" style video that most youtubers are making. There is definitely a place for actual reviews but as I don't have access like that to these bikes I thought I would do things a bit differently than just list you a bunch of specs and hilights of these machines.

I make these videos just to bring you along on a test ride of these bikes. Some episodes might be longer if I get access to a bike for more time but mostly these are short test ride style videos where I try to tell you the audience everything I'm feeling from the bike at that moment and maybe do a closing thought at the end if needed.
