The Transcontinental Railroad was completed on May 10th, 1869. In this episode of Train Talk, we visit the Golden Spike National Historic Site in Promontory, Utah. This was the site of completion for the Transcontinental Railroad and today, it is presented how it would've looked on the day the railroad was completed.
