Its that time of the year again folks, the Erie canal has been filled in Western NY, and with it have come a flood fish. I was always told that the first week when the canal was filled was a great time to get some fishing in. Sticking with lighter baits for the most part I managed to catch a decent number of fish over the course of 3 hours.
