International Karate Plus (IK+) - Atari ST

Описание к видео International Karate Plus (IK+) - Atari ST

In this video, IK+, released in 1988 for the Atari ST by System 3.
Sequel of International Karate, IK+ or International Karate Plus is a karate fighting game created and published in 1987 by System 3 for ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 and in 1988 for Amstrad CPC, Amiga and Atari ST. The matches always involve three karateka, all against all, of which one or two (the red and the white) are controllable by human players. The goal of the game is to get up to six points or get the highest score when time runs out. If it happens that at the end of the match you are third it's game over.
Every two levels there is a bonus stage: a karateka in the center of the screen must shield himself from balls or kick away bombs coming/appearing from both sides, faster and faster. The goal is to resist as much as possible.
Graphically exceptional IK+ is simple and yet detailed, colored, fast (if you enable the turbo as I've done at the end of the video). The audio mix a quality made chiptune music and very good digitized fx. The playability is top, we got a game that can assure you hours of happy fighting and if you have a friend you can have very funny moments, laughs, rage...
Here you'll find loading screens and gameplay until eliminated because of a third placement.

All footage taken from original hardware machines and upscaled to 1080P.
