Falcon - Atari ST / STE

In this video, Falcon, released in 1988 for the Atari ST by Spectrum Holobyte.
Choose your name and rank, take your F-16, load it with every kind of missiles and extra fuel if you want to fly a "fat bird" and go, several missions await you, each one with a different challenge rating and different things to do. Falcon is a complete combat flight simulator where you have to carefully plan your course, think fast when flying and improve your skills in dogfighting and bombing.
The 3D graphics are simple but fast while the sounds are completely digitized. I have consumed this game and its mission disks back in the days and I can safely say that its playability is top and the difficulty balanced. The game's manual helps you immensely and the satisfaction is huge when you complete your first mission.
As a side note there is the possibility to create your own missions and to play via null-modem serial cable with a friend and his own ST. If you own an Atari ST with at least 1MB of ram, the game adds more visual and sound effects.
