Gromm Ironshod, is a seasoned dwarven army officer and former blacksmith, now responsible for overseeing the Main Barracks. He has a sturdy build and a perpetual scowl, with scarred hands and a muscular frame that speaks to his years of labor and battle.
Gromm is frequently seen in a heavy-duty leather apron worn over his military attire, and his long, braided beard is flecked with soot, as he oversees the latest defensive project at the forges nearby.

Gromm hails from the Old World, where he was raised in a harsh mountainous region. He fought in a devastating war before migrating to Teliboria two decades ago. He has significant experience both as a soldier and a master blacksmith. His transition to Teliboria was driven by a desire to leave behind the pain and destruction of his homeland and start anew.
A deep secret haunts Gromm: during the Old World war, he made a critical mistake in the heat of battle, causing the loss of many lives. This mistake has tormented him ever since, and he carries the burden of those lost souls with him. Gromm's motivation is to ensure that such an error never happens again and to instill a sense of vigilance and precision in the troops under his command.

Quest Idea: Gromm has received intelligence about a potential bandit spy within the ranks of the City Garrison. He needs adventurers to discreetly investigate and identify the traitor without causing alarm among the troops. The mission involves gathering clues, interviewing suspects, and possibly staging a fake operation against the bandits to flush out the spy, in cooperation with Gromm. This quest is critical to maintaining the integrity and security of Gurn Thurim's defenses, and success will earn the adventurers Gromm's deep gratitude and trust.
