ASEC 2023 - On Integration of MBSE and Simulation of Evaluation of Complex, Quantitative, Temporal Key Indicators - Lukas Macha, Peter Ebner, Julian Padget

This paper introduces a novel methodology for integrating System Models built using System Modelling Language (SysML) with simulation, enabling quantitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) at every stage of the system's life cycle. This approach is demonstrated in a five-step process using an automotive Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) application. This novel integration eliminates manual transformation of information from System Models to simulation toolchains, reduces the potential for errors, and enhances scalability to streamline the development process of automotive systems using MBSE.
