Hello Welcome back to another video in the Networker training series. In today's video we will look at how to deploy a vProxy. NetWorker provides the ability to perform virtual machine protection and recovery by using the NetWorker VMware Protection solution with vProxy appliance.

Overview of the steps involved in deploying the vProxy appliance -
Login into the vSpere Client with an administrator account
In the main menu expands vCenter and then expand hosts
Right click the ESXi host on which you will deploy the OVA and select deploy OVF template.
Browse for the OVA
Review the details
Accept the license agreements
On The select named and folder window specify the name if the virtual appliance and optionally the inventory location
Next, select the datastore where you want the VM to be stored.
Select the networks
Customize the settings by providing the IP and hostname details. Please note that incase you provide a wrong configuration the vPxoxy will not commit these settings to the appliance.
On the same page put in the password for the admin and root user.
