The Sims
In The Sims, there is only one repo-man named "Bud". He will arrive on foot and cannot be interact with him. When he finishes repossessing the objects needed, he will leave.
Removing the doors leading into the house wont stop him, the repo-man will use his gun outside, and the object will still be repossessed. If the household does not have any objects that can be taken, he will leave.

The Sims 2
In The Sims 2 the repo man arrives in a truck. They slide the door open and get out. They will laugh and cackle menacingly whilst repossessing objects. When finished, they will return to their truck and leave.
If you remove the doors leading into the house, he will teleport inside the house and proceed repossessing the items. If the household does not have any objects that can be taken, upon arriving, the repo-man will criticize the family for wasting his time.

The Sims 3
Like in The Sims 2, in The Sims 3, the repo man arrives in a truck, but unfortunately, but they will get out of the vehicle by teleporting. After repossessing the necessary items he will leave. If you remove the doors leading into the house, like in The Sims 2, the repo man will teleport inside the house and start repossessing like usual.

The Sims 4
In The Sims 4, if you don't pay your bills, first the electricity will be cut off. Then if the bills remain unpaid, the water supply will also be cut. If you again fail to pay the bills , the repo-men will come to the house and repossess items, like previous games. He appears out of nowhere. after repossessing the necessary objects, the power and water supply will be back on. Then he will leave. If you remove the doors leading into the house, he will climb up a window. If the household does not have any objects that can be taken, the same message saying that you don't have any objects valuable will pop up and he will leave.
