Hi Beautiful Friends, Welcome to "Strength & Surrender: A Somatic Pilates & Yoga Journey for Resilience." In this practice, we'll explore the delicate balance between effort and release, using somatic Pilates and somatic yoga exercises to help you navigate life’s challenges with grace. By integrating full body somatic movement and somatic release exercises, we’ll rewire the nervous system and build both physical and emotional resilience with delicious somatic hip opening exercises. It is equally wonderful as somatic yoga for weight loss because of the nervous system regulation.

Throughout this yoga Pilates workout, we’ll focus on deep core engagement, targeting the transverse abdominis (TVA) muscle with exercises designed to strengthen from the inside out. This somatic Pilates workout is perfect for anyone looking to mobilize, tone, and reconnect with their body, whether you're working through rehab, recovering from injury, or simply seeking a gentle yet powerful workout.

Using a yoga block, we'll add depth to our pilates mat workout, targeting the abs and releasing tension through somatic movements. This combination of yoga and Pilates, often called Yogalates, offers a holistic approach to building core strength while promoting relaxation.
