The Spanish Emergency Military Unit (UME), English version. Created in 2005, UME is a high qualified and prepared force for emergencies response. Since its creation this unit have been working hand by hand with both civil and military organizations on major disaster such as flood, earthquakes, rescues, fires and such. UME gives means and operative response providing 3 C (Coordination, Command and Control) on the field both in national and international soil supporting local emergency assets.
