Hauptdarsteller dieses Videos ist der Casio CZ 101. Er kam im besonders schlechten Zustand in meine Werkstatt und wurde wieder voll instandgesetzt. Platinenbruch, Verkabelung und neues beleuchtetes Display sind nur einige Highlights dieses Videos. Viel Spaß beim schauen.

Mit der CZ-Serie hat sich Casio in den 80ern bis heute eine wachsende Fangemeinde erschlossen. Im Februar 1985 kam ein tragbarer Synthesizer mit der Produktbezeichnung CZ-101 auf den Markt. Äußerlich eine Enttäuschung, erwartete man doch ein aufregendes, computergestütztes Synthesizer-Paket.

Mit seiner 4-Oktaven Minitatstatur entsprach der CZ-101 eher CASIOS vertrautem Taschenrechner-Image. Aber der Schein trog, denn der CZ-101 war alles andere als ein Spielzeug.
Ein breites Spektrum von digital kalt bis analog warm ist mit dem Casio CZ-101 möglich. Der Casio CZ 1000 ist vom Aufbau her identisch, unterscheidet sich jedoch lediglich durch die Folientasten und der Full Size Tastatur.

With the CZ series, Casio has tapped into a growing fan community from the 80s to the present day. In February 1985, a portable synthesizer called the CZ-101 was released. Outwardly a disappointment as one expected an exciting computer based synthesizer package.

With its 4-octave miniature keyboard, the CZ-101 corresponded more to CASIO's familiar pocket calculator image. But appearances were deceptive, because the CZ-101 was anything but a toy.
A wide range from digital cold to analogue warm is possible with the Casio CZ-101. The Casio CZ 1000 is identical in structure, but differs only in the membrane keys and the full-size keyboard.
