Hey everybody! Here's the next episode of Three-For-All with 3 Shawn Lane Licks From 1991. It's been a few years since I've featured the late-great Shawn Lane's incredible music on the LNL channel, and after noticing more requests piling up for Shawn, I figured it was finally time to grab a few more ideas from this brilliant and sorely missed legend - let's dive in!

The ideas in this lesson came from a video posted on Shawn's official YouTube channel called "Shawn Lane Shredding On A White Fender Stratocaster 1991," which captures him playing that guitar in particular for over seven minutes. The footage is great, and aside from the blistering shred licks he was playing, he also threw out some beyond-tasteful Hendrix-inspired bluesy licks and phrases - which is what this lesson focuses on specifically.

The ideas shared here include a tasty open-position based bluesy phrase, a slick phrase featuring a blurry Dorian-based legato run, a super-expressive phrase using lots of interesting string bending, an authentic Hendrix "string grab" bending phrase, and more!
