Kenny Wayne Shepherd is a blues rock guitarist who has been influenced by Stevie Ray Vaughan since he was a child. He met Vaughan when he was seven years old and received his autograph on his first Stratocaster. He also opened for Van Halen, another of his heroes, on their last tour in 2015. Kenny Wayne Shepherd has paid tribute to Stevie Ray Vaughan by playing his songs and imitating his style in many of his concerts. He has also collaborated with Vaughan’s band members and expressed his admiration for him in interviews.
