Optimus No.111 Burning Test Aug.3.2024

こちらはOptimus(オプティマス)No.111 ローラーバーナーの燃焼テストとなります。タンクから出た燃料が一旦バーナーの頭上を通りますので111Bと違い十分に温められ気化が可能となり灯油(KEROSENE)の燃焼も可能となります。今回はまず灯油でテストし、完全に燃焼し尽くした後にホワイトガソリンを注入してテストしました。

最初が灯油、次にホワイトガソリンです。灯油では若干炎が赤くなりましたが、さすがにホワイトガソリンは純度が高いせいか濃いブルーの炎となりました。

燃焼前に数回ポンピングして十分にプリヒートを行ったのちにスロットルを開いて燃焼開始となります。

室内にてのテストですが、こちらは灯油およびホワイトガソリンが燃料となり十分なプリヒートがなされない場合や点火時にバーナーのスロットルが開いていたりしますと大炎上となる場合がありますので、ストーブに熟知され作動やメンテナンスに熟知された方、そして何があっても自己責任で行える方以外は絶対に真似なさらない様にお願い致します。また行う場合には必ず消火器の設置もお願い致します。


This is a combustion test of the Optimus No. 111 roller burner. Unlike the 111B, the fuel from the tank passes over the head of the burner and is heated sufficiently to vaporize, allowing kerosene (KEROSENE) to be burned. In this test, we first tested with kerosene, and after it was completely burned, we injected white gasoline.

First kerosene, then white gasoline. The kerosene flame turned slightly reddish, but the white gasoline flame was a deep blue due to its high purity.

Before combustion, the engine was pumped a few times to fully preheat the gasoline before opening the throttle to start combustion.

This stove is fueled by kerosene and white gasoline, which can cause a large flame if not sufficiently preheated or if the burner throttle is open at the time of ignition. Please do not attempt to do so unless you are familiar with the stove, its operation and maintenance, and can do so at your own risk. If you do so, please be sure to install a fire extinguisher.
