Redfin "Blue Streak" 0.6 c.c. Model Diesel Engine

This is a miniature model diesel engine inspired by the highly regarded "Rivers Silver Streak" 2.5 c.c. engine of the early to mid 1960's. It was released in limited numbers in June 2023.

Unlike it's inspiration, the Rivers Silver Streak, it features a twin ball raced main bearing. The Rivers Silver Streak utilised a unique high precision "roller bearing" main bearing.

The "Blue Streak" has been built to exacting standards of fit and finish from very high-quality materials in by Aleksandr Matusha in Ukraine.

I have fitted the A.S.-50 R/C Carb sold by ScaleHobbies Germany, which suits it well. For an engine of this displacement and timing, throttle performance is most acceptable.

25% First Pressing degummed Castor Oil (cosmetic grade)
