Hot Work Risks DVD from FPA & RISCAuthority

RISCAuthority, administered by the Fire Protection Association, is a research organisation funded by the UK’s insurance industry, whose mission is to promote business and property protection and resilience to fire and other insured perils.

As hot work-related fires remain stubbornly prevalent in construction and refurbishment, RISCAuthority - in association with the FPA - has updated the existing long format training videos previously issued as a paid for DVD and made them FREE to use and distribution.

This 25-minute video instructs the user on what constitutes hot work; where safety requirements apply; what the dangers are; completing the hot work permit; and roles and responsibilities on site. Updated with new video footage pertinent to a modern -day construction site, this video is offered free of change by RISCAuthority to assist in the battle against hot work related losses.
