Ewhurst Green - H2 'Brighton' Atlantics

Описание к видео Ewhurst Green - H2 'Brighton' Atlantics

With the Bluebell Railway having placed its splendid replica of H2 Atlantic 'Beachy Head' into service, the opportunity was taken to have an 'Atlantic' operating session with three of the four featured locomotives coming to visit.

Of the H2 Atlantic names, St Alban’s head has a Coastguard Station (the lighthouse is at Anvil Point). whilst South Foreland, North Foreland, Needles, Beachy Head and Trevose Head all have lighthouses; the Needles also has a Coastguard Station..

Of the H1 Atlantic names, Selsey Bill, Portland Bill, Hartland Point, St Catherine’s Point all have lighthouses. However, Peveril Point only has a Coastguard Station as (like St Alban's Head) the lighthouse is at Anvil Point.

No.422 (later named North Foreland) appears in LB&SCR livery hauling two SECR 'Birdcage' sets.

No.2421 (South Foreland) appears in SR Olive livery hauling a pre-electrification peak-hour Worthing 8 Cor set no.469. This lined-Olive Maunsell low-window set has been prototypically stengthed with two Pullman cars.

No.32424 (Beachy Head) appears in BR black livery hauling a strengthened Crimson Lake & Cream Maunsell set no.247.

No.32426 (St Alban's Head) appears in BR black livery hauling two Bulleid Crimson Lake & Cream 5 Cor 'L' sets nos.836 & 847.

Locomotive nos.32424 & 32426 (and Bulleid sets 836/847) had been expertly weathered by TMC (https://www.themodelcentre.com).
