Watercolor Mountains: Beginner techniques for color mixing and layering

Описание к видео Watercolor Mountains: Beginner techniques for color mixing and layering

Color mixing is magic and will significantly improve your watercolor painting. In my last video we learned how to mix neutrals from our primary colors, now let's use those colors to create soft and subtle mountain landscape as we practice flat washes and layering.

I'll show you my three favorite primary colors to use. Phthalo blue, Quinacridone Magenta and Diarylide yellow. We'll also throw in some black for good measure. This is a great exercise for beginners!
