This instrument bezel has the correct color black textured finish with chrome accents, as well as the correct cutouts. The kit also includes a replacement lens, which has two bezels installed for your temperature and fuel level gauge, along with the red lenses for the oil and alternator.

Bill shows how replacing your instrument bezel and lens can make all the difference in the look of the interior, as it does in our Weekend Wrench project car.

The first step in the installation of the bezel and lens is to remove the six screws holding your current gauge cluster to your dash. Then, to remove the cluster from the car, you'll need to remove all the wires connecting the cluster to your dash. Once disconnected from the dash, unscrew the old bezel from the cluster, and then the screw holding the retaining plate on.

Place your new lens on the bezel and then the retaining plate, re-securing the screws. You'll then secure your cluster to the new bezel and rewire the cluster into your dash. Complete installation takes 30-45 minutes.
