Creating a User Needs Statement in Design Thinking

Описание к видео Creating a User Needs Statement in Design Thinking

The User Needs Statement (also known as a Point of View Statement) is an actionable problem statement that summarizes who the user is, what the user’s specific need is, and why that need is important. The User Needs Statement is completed during the Define phase of the Design process to help define the problem from the customer’s perspective.

Benefits of Creating a User Needs Statement:

Provides a condensed, easy-to-understand description of the problem.

Helps the team think about what they want their solution to do, not how.

Aligns the design team around a specific and actionable problem.

Provides a metric for success that can be used through the Design Thinking process.
