Denison smocks on most tabletop battlefields are associated with the British Parachute regiments, but they were also issued to Commando units, the Special Operations Executive and other 'elite' forces. Painting camouflage can seem daunting, but by breaking it down into simple steps and working through the process in a logical manner you can find a method that works for you. Simple geometric shapes used to block out areas of colour followed by some irregular edges on those shapes is one easy way to get a camo pattern on anything at scales right down to 6mm, though one might need a smaller brush than I used in this video!

I also call the smock a 'jacket' repeatedly, which is wildly incorrect!
