Track Cleaning and Maintenance of Way to keep your railroad on time!!

Hey everyone in this video we take a look at some track cleaning suggestions to keep your track running smooth and your railroad on time! There are several different ways to clean track-- both manually and with the aid of track cleaning cars. I personally do both. The track cleaning cars I use are from Northeast trains. They are nicely made and detailed and really work good as well.

Then we go to maintenance of way. I have a tie jector and working caboose trailing that ejects railroad ties either on the fly or stationary. Its made by Lionel and comes with TMCC. It can be operated with TMCC remote in command or DCS remote or strictly conventional track power.

Then we tale a look at the PRR maintenance of way train. There are gondolas with ballast as well as track sections, a crew car, crane car and a few others as well. All good to keep both your rails and railroad clean and trouble free. I hope you enjoy!!
