This is a 5 hour build, of a custom 2.5 centimeter, over 3 days. Joe walk’s through the major steps, and speed’s up most of the time consuming steps.

This custom lift is built with 5 layers of 5mm acrylic. The acrylic is light and strong, to sustain the stresses of torque applied while skating, while reducing weight.

Stainless steel 2 inch screws and nylon lock nuts are used to secure the holder to the boot, as the longest copper and steel rivets for skates are in 1.25 inches.
