LG Dishwasher Circulation Pump Noise FIX DIY Bearing replacement

Описание к видео LG Dishwasher Circulation Pump Noise FIX DIY Bearing replacement

*Update - My replacement bearing only lasted 4 months. It appears the seal is faulty and letting water pass through. I'm not sure if the shaft is scored and worn or if its the seal itself. I would recommend getting a new seal if you are going to attempt this repair as that is what likely caused the bearing to fail in the first place. Search for 12676000000931, DD62-00053A or 8x26x8/11 OIL SEAL.

Replace your bearings and save a bunch of money.
Bearing are from Amazon PGN - 608-2RS Sealed Ball Bearing - 8x22x7 - Lubricated - Chrome Steel

You'll need some new bolts and and nuts to replace the four rivets.
I think I used M5, but #12 machine screw should work. 1 or 1 1/4 inch long.
I used a drill to remove the back of the rivet and punch to remove them.
Centre screw is left hand thread.
I think only one bearing was bad but I decided to remove both. Getting the one off the shaft required a bit of work. Would be smart to mark the location on the shaft so you put it back on the right way.
Otherwise this is pretty straight forward and should get your pump nice and quiet again.
